National Work Zone Safety Awareness Week (April 3-7, 2000)
The National Work Zone Safety Information Clearinghouse joined many other national organizations to promote National Work Zone Safety Awareness Week, April 3-7, 2000. That was an opportunity for anyone involved in roadway construction to schedule events, speak to the press, or simply tie an orange ribbon on your auto's radio antenna and turn on your headlights to demonstrate that America needs to pay more attention to work zone safety.
