The National Work Zone Safety Information Clearinghouse (Clearinghouse) Teams up with World of Asphalt to Provide Education Sessions in 2010
In 2009 the acclaimed Traffic Management & Work Zone Safety Conference managed by The Clearinghouse was held in conjunction with World of Asphalt. This joint event connected transportation leaders with people at all levels of government and private industry to discuss challenges and cutting edge solutions to help improve the safe and efficient movement of traffic under many different roadway conditions.
In 2010 the Clearinghouse will again offer FREE educational sessions during World of Asphalt on February 17 in Cincinnati, OH. This intensive one day offering of a “Traffic Management & Work Zone Safety Power Workshop” will focus on key work zone safety challenges that daily confront contractors, workers and public officials. A preliminary agenda is posted on the Clearinghouse website, www.workzonesafety.org and registration is available at www.worldofasphalt.com.
