Abstract: Kris Sandgren, a Maintenance Crew Leader with the Missouri Department of Transportation, began a 2,600 mile bicycle journey on June 22, 2010. He is riding to promote work zone safety awareness and raise money for a Missouri Fallen Workers' Memorial. Since 1930, over one hundred MoDOT employees have lost their lives in the line of duty.
