Abstract: As part of its Safe-T campaign, the North Texas Tollway Authority reminds motorists to pay special attention to the road while travelling through work zones. Work zone accidents in 2008 resulted in over 700 fatalities, and approximately 90 percent of the people killed in those crashes were drivers and their passengers. Although safety measures have been taken to protect motorists and workers in work zones, drivers must use caution and follow all safety procedures in order to ensure their own safety and the safety of others.
