Campaign Name: Work Zone Safety Awareness Campaign
Description: Connecticut statistics indicate that the highest percentage of work zone crashes is rear end collisions with the most common contributing factor being following too close. Federal, state, and municipal officials, representatives of the construction industry, and utility companies joined the Commissioners of Transportation and Public Safety to highlight the Work Zone Safety Awareness Week in Connecticut. Campaign efforts included outreach to driving schools, young drivers, motor transport associations, schools and contractor organizations.

Audio PSAs: 60 sec. PSA with 10 sec. spots.
Materials: Bumper sticker with Don't Zone Out message included with Slow Down for Work Zones.
