Description: The Maine Department of Transportation sponsored the Backseat Driver Program from 2001 to 2008 to spread the word about work zone safety - the poster contest provided content for MaineDOT's 2009 Work Zone Safety calendar. This program targeted 4th Graders (web site & Poster Contest) and also MaineDOT Employees (WZ Safety Contest).
Themes: The 2008 poster winner -- had the slogan 'Orange you safer driving slow in a Work Zone?
