Practice Provision: Flagger certification and training
Description:
From Wyoming Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction:
"703.4.6 Flagging
Use flaggers that have completed and passed a flagger training program approved by the State Construction Office before flagging. A three-day grace period will be allowed to meet this requirement in an unplanned emergency situation. Ensure that flaggers are tested every three years and that they have a current certification card in their possession when they are on the project."
From Wyoming Department of Transportation Traffic Control Flagger Certification Approved Programs:
"The following Traffic Control Flagger Certification Programs are approved for use on Wyoming Department of Transportation projects:
1. American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA)
2. Wyoming Contractor's Association (WCA)"
