Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) launched its Distracted Driving Campaign on September 21, 2010. This campaign aimed at educating young drivers as well as motorists of all ages to Look Up, Hang Up, and go “Slow for the Cone Zone” when traveling through a construction zone. ODOT broadcasted the message on the state's electronic highway message boards and also displayed more than 500 Look Up, Hang Up and Go Slow For the Cone Zone posters at all rest areas, travel information centers, and agency facilities statewide.
