Abstract: The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) approved the new A10.47 standard on “Work Zone Safety for Highway Construction”. The A10.47 is a best practice guide for highway construction industry. As with other ANSI standards, it could lay the groundwork for future changes in national regulations.
