Increasing the Work Zone Worker’s Visibility Through High-Visibility Safety Apparel

Abstract: 
"High-visibility safety apparel" is defined as any garment meeting the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) 107-2004 Class 2 or 3 standard. Developed by ATSSA under the FHWA Work Zone Safety Grant, this brochure provides a brief description of Class 1, 2, and 3 safety apparel, their acceptability, and applications within the right of way of a Federal-aid highway.
