The government of British Columbia (B.C.) has decided to regulate traffic in construction zones much more strictly. Starting from October 14, motorists can expect to see more speed reader boards in construction zones to slow them down. Motorists will also see an increase of police officers monitoring active work zones. Anyone caught speeding in a work zone can be fined up to $438.
