The Future of Crash Testing: The Descendant of NCHRP Report 350
Abstract:
This presentation discusses the future replacement of the NCHRP Report 350 with a new set of crash testing guidlines. It begins with a brief history of crash testing in the U.S.. It goes on to review the effectiveness of Report 350 and lists the reasons it needs updating. The presentation then lists the potential updates Report 350 is facing including test vehicle specifications, impact conditions, and many others.
