Title: Media Invitation - PENNDOT Press Conference April 7 - "Promotes National Work Zone Awareness Week"
Abstract: In an effort to decrease work zone related crashes, improve safety and introduce new work zone signs and laws, PENNDOT will hold a press conference at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 7, 2003 in Blacklick Township, Indiana County. Reporters will be given a real life experience of being in an active work zone. The press conference will kick-off National Work Zone Awareness Week, April 6-12, and will provide the media various opportunities to interview safety officials, police officers, project managers and work zone flaggers.
