Title: The Three R's of Work Zone Safety "Recognition, Reaction, Responsibility"
Abstract: The safety of maintenance and construction workers and the motoring public is one of PENNDOT's highest priorities. Work zone safety requires an ongoing and committed effort from everyone who uses the highway system. Everyday, peoples' lives are put at risk because someone didn't recognize the need to slow down and use caution through a work zone. PENNDOT Engineering District 10 would like to offer an easy memory tool to its customers to remind them about the importance of work zone safety. The Three R's of work zone safety: "Recognition, Reaction, Responsibility."
