Abstract: Work zone safety control is an important area which has been under a lot of attention lately because of the hazards they pose to travelers in terms of safety. The purpose of this report is to study mobile and short duration work zone safety with special attention to work zone safety devices, information systems for the reduction of safety and congestion, and implementation of innovative techniques to reduce delays and crashes due to work zones.
