Title: ARTBA Foundation Accepting Applications for 2008 Highway Worker Memorial Scholarship
Abstract: The availability of the 2008 “Highway Worker Memorial Scholarship” application is announced along with eligibility requirements and selection criteria. The Highway Worker Memorial Scholarship is a scholarship offered by the American Road and Transportation Builders Association Transportation Development Foundation (ARTBA-TDF). This unique scholarship provides funding for post-high school education to children of highway construction workers who were either permanently disabled or fatally wounded while on the job. Those who qualify for this award, as evidenced by ability to meet certain eligibility requirements and academic criteria, can receive a maximum of $2,000.
