Title: MDOT Using a Variety of Innovative Traffic Control Methods to Smooth the Ride in Work Zones
Abstract: Many motorists traveling through state work zones on Michigan's highways will have assistance from innovation and technology being used by the state Department of Transportation. Innovative techniques for traffic control and safety can be found this summer throughout lower Michigan. Moveable barrier walls and advanced portable changeable message signs are being used in mid-Michigan.
