Abstract: A legal case summary. The suit that was brought by Omar Stevenson, a tractor trailer driver who was injured on July 1, 1982 in the accident occurred at the work site in the two northbound lanes of I-81 in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Mr. Stevenson claimed negligence in maintaining work zone safety against the G.A. and F.C. Wagman Company, the Pennsylvania DOT, and the James D. Morrisey Company. The suit was settled in Mr. Stevenson's favor for $195,000 during trial.
