These flanged-channel supports are made of the same re-rolled railsteel meeting ASTM A499 Grade 60 requirements, and come from rails weighing more than 91 pounds per yard (37.74 kg/meter), they will continue to be acceptable in the configurations that have previously been crash tested for similar Grade 60 flanged channel supports.
