Low Maintenance/Severe Duty Impact Attenuator. Variable force which provides the lowest G Forces for small vehicles. Average Cost of repair parts during two-year in-service evaluation was $39 per impact as reported on the FHWA website. NCHRP350 tests were all passed with the same unit with no damage except for two shear bolts per frontal impact.
