Iowa Smart Work Zone: Application on I-80 reconstruction project where there was two-way travel on two lanes. Project features included HAR, video surveillance for traffic speeds and volume monitoring, wide-band microwave radar for communication between detection devices, and Changeable Message Signs (CMSs) activated using cellular signals from system control to indicate delays.
