Practice Provision: Placement of G20-1 signs
Description:
In Connecticut, G20-1 signs are used on freeways where the length of work is extensive, usually 5 miles or more, to warn the public of an unusually long work zone. The sign is located where it can be fit inside the sign pattern for the project. W20-1 "ROAD WORK AHEAD" is located 1 mile from the beginning of the work zone. It is the only "ROAD WORK AHEAD" sign used in the pattern.
