Title: Emergency Preparedness in Remote Work Zones
Description: This course involves hands-on training to prepare participants how to handle an emergency in a remote work zone. The course will account for man-made and natural hazards. Students will learn to plan in advance to manage any emergency situation. They will be taught how to assess the situation, use common sense and available resources to take care of themselves, co-workers and the recovery of their business. Participants will gain an understanding of what to expect in any remote work zone situation.
Audience: Construction workers and supervisors.
Length: 8 hr.
