The U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has issued a new rule on the use of cranes and derricks in construction, directly impacting thousands of industry firms. The final rule, designed to prevent work place hazards and fatalities, goes into effect on November 8, 2010.
