This training educates workers in proper work zone set-up and traffic control flagging procedures. Discussion focuses on responsibilities, hazards, equipment requirements and methods to properly channel traffic and provide advance warning to motorists, while protecting the work crew. A Washington State Department of Transportation flagging card will be issued upon successfully completing the class and passing the State of Washington Flagger Certification Examination.
