Title: Heavy Equipment Operator Training Workshop
Description: Classroom sessions: A one-day Training Section that will cover trenching safety, vehicle safety, vehicle maintenance, daily walk around inspections, and pre-post shift inspection. This classroom training will have unlimited attendants. We ask that you sign up for sections that are convenient for you and your employer.
Hands on sessions: A two-day hands on Training that will cover vehicle safety, vehicle maintenance, daily walk around inspections, pre - post shift inspection and equipment operating technique. We will limit the number of people in the on hands training section to two people per piece of equipment. By doing this we hope to give you better on site instructional information and training, with less time involvement. On hands training will be offered throughout the year on an as need bases.
Audience: Persons who operate front-end loaders, motor graders, and/or backhoes. This includes persons who desire to become equipment operators as well as those required to work around such equipment and perform equipment maintenance duties.
