Title: Traffic Signing and Control
Description: This one-day workshop addresses installation, maintenance, and legal aspects of street and highway traffic signs. Topics covered include: Minnesota Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MMUTCD), sign types, proper location and position of signs, reflectivity, structure and materials, state and federal standards, replacement programs, strong yellow-green signs, vandalism, sign inspection, and placement and authority.
Audience: Maintenance crew, inspectors, those responsible for traffic signs on streets and highways, and street supervisors.
