Title: Traffic Control for Special Events
Description: This 4-hour road show provides a "how to" plan and set up traffic control for special events on street, off street, or at fixed sites. Examples of these events are sporting events, parades, street fairs, emergencies, etc. This is a practical training for road crew and supervisors. The training covers various traffic control devices for special events and emergencies, field set-up and installation of control devices, controlling and directing pedestrians, positive vehicle entry and exit control, directing vehicles, signing, vehicle removal and tow-away, parking control, remote parking and use of shuttle buses, ensuring safety, and field planning and management.
