As a part of the awareness campaign for the “move over” law, Vermont Agency of Transportation will display 12 large white and yellow signs on interstate highways to warn drivers to move over or slow down when they see emergency vehicles on highway shoulders. Drivers who do not abide by the move over law face a fine up to $234 and five points on their drivers’ licenses.
