The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) conducted a one-day workshop to demonstrate the use of a work zone project coordination strategy using the Work Zone Impacts and Strategies Estimator (WISE) software. The workshop was hosted by Maryland State Highway Administration, one of the four SHRP2 Implementation Assistance Program pilot sites for the WISE product, and was conducted on September 20, 2017 in Hanover, Maryland. The workshop included presentations on and demonstrations of the WISE software by the four SHRP2 WISE pilot sites. Each of the sites enhanced the WISE tool to meet their needs. The workshop also included group discussion sessions on integrating WISE into agency business processes, data needs for work zone project coordination and WISE, and getting started with WISE. The agenda is provided below with links to the presentations.
