Did you install your RSP prior to March 2014? Are you experiencing any difficulty in running RSP Version 11.0 on your Windows 8 machine? Do you receive a Quick Time installation error? Then the RSP Windows 8 Updater is for you.
The RSP Windows 8 Updater makes small adjustments to your already installed RSP Version 11.0 so that you do not need to reinstall a more recent version of the RSP. In addition, QuickTime is no longer required to run RSP.
To get the RSP Windows 8 Updater, click here to download. Download it to a location where you can find it. Then, right click on the rsp_windows_8_updater.exe file, and select ‘Run as Administrator.’ At that point, follow the on-screen prompts — especially make sure you have closed RSP before running the Updater.
After the update is complete, you may also want to go to the Download Module tab on the Instructor Menu and update some of the installed modules. A few updates have been made, so why not have the latest version of RSP installed?
If you still experience glitches when running the RSP program on Windows 8 and you do not want to use the Updater, then you can uninstall your current RSP program and then download and install the new RSP Version 11.1.
Before running the Updater, make sure you CLOSE the RSP. It must be closed for the updates to install. As always, if you have any questions or problems, please contact us.
